Afterthoughts
The goverment will verify (prime minister says this and will give a public letter tomorrow) whhat I've heard from here&there - the whole deal with the bronze soldier was a real threat to the independence of our country. Or straightforward - the bronze soldier was an excuse to push this country into civil war, make a coup and put "loyal" (russian sided) polichchickens onto power, to make this country a puppet for the Moscow.
Happily our national security agencies were up to task and when the riots started the local leaders were snatched and put behind bars. One of most popular politician, mayor of the capitol, E. Savisaar has shown his real face, a traitor of the country, a commie puppet, there are close to 100,000 (8-9% of whole population) signatures on the petiticion that demands his resignation. People do say worse, like kill him or such (parafrasing Stalin - no person, no problem), but doing it civilized would be better.
Support to police is high, people are collecting money into funds to give bonus or help the recovery of those LEOs, handling the situation. Many of those were women, by the way, and often lacking in protective equipment, like helmets, but it didn't stop the criminals throwing rocks at them.
Human Rights organization is concerned about those detained people, thinking those people were treated badly, that their rights were violated. I think it's the idiocy of soft world that has used to watch violence from TV only. These are criminals, my personal thinking is that they have no right to tell us about the human rights, the same ones they so readily violate themselves. A typical prisoner in our city prison has better life than I do, I pay my share of taxes for that.
Seems that this operation was planned for a long time. You know, not too long before, one apartement was raided and there was 20+ kg of high ex, connected to this were people of russian origin. I don't think that is was just a coincidence, I'm pretty sure this HE had it's role. Remember the excuse for second Chetchnya war? Supposedly the terrorists blew up a apartement building, that turned out to be the handiwork of GRU. I'm sure something like that was planned here, so the RF could cry over the massacre of russian speaking people here and send out their forces to prevent the new holocaust. Also, first time for NATO, it was under cyber attacks, with people from Russia (several computers were traced to Russian goverment offices) hacking and damaging out networks and goverment sites.
And the whole hysteria that started was most probably a childish rage, that the plan blew, so the Russia tramped her feet and yelled obscures, threatening us with all kinds of crap.
But indeed, the PM stated that the removal of the soldier was nessesary to the safety of our country, to the independence. To prevent our country from falling under the Russian control, step by step.
